Not as exciting as your experience, but I spent a college semester living and studying in Israel back in the 80's. We stayed 2 weeks at a kibbutz on the east side of the Sea of Gallilee and worked in the banana fields. While there I swam where Jesus walk. I also received a call to serve a mission while there.
